In my St George Utah real estate market, although slower than years prior, it is steady. Now that interest rates have lowered, many prospective home buyers are giving up their warm seat on the proverbial fence...and jumping in to becoming a home buyer. What a great time to be a buyer. In my market, there is a record number of homes on the inventory and sellers are becoming competitive.
So does the average buyer need a "buyers agent" to represent them when purchasing a home? How hard is it to find a home and make an offer, right? You can drive around neighborhoods until you find an area you want to call…

Southern Utah Property Sales
Below is a chart reflecting the St George real estate sales statistics and inventory statistics for all of Southern Utah. This chart includes the Washington County MLS in its entirety and all property listed for sale including Residential, Commercial and Land.
December was a considerably slower sales month in comparison to months prior. The amount of Active Listings has declined a bit, however the months in inventory has increased, meaning homes are sitting on the market longer. Due to the unusually high amount of property listed, sellers are becoming extremely competitive, giving buyers the advantage and making this a great time to purchase property.

BLOOMINGTON HILLS, St. George
Bloomington Hills is a neighborhood within St. George Utah. It is located to the east (and slightly north) of Bloomington. In the early 80's, Bloomington was considered "the place to be" by residents. Bloomington Hills was considered more of an affordable second choice option. Now, Bloomington Hills is a beautiful, equally desired neighborhood.
Bloomington Hills is built around the city golf course, St George Golf Club, which the city took over in 1983. This course features a par 73, 18 hole course and is approximately 7,200 yards. The par 3's are said to be the most difficult in Washington County, with at least 190 yards on average. Like neighboring Bloomington, homes can be purchased (and a few lots remain)…
